June is here and I am still trying to figure out where the heck May went. I thought it would be safe to plant some flowers but with the temperature drop on Sunday, I’m not so sure. You may want to err on the side of caution and cover up your plants so they don’t get touched by the frost.
A reminder to those who haven’t purchased their plants yet, Bradford Greenhouses has a fundraiser for Minesing Central School so if you mention that you would like your purchase to be considered for that fundraiser, a percentage goes towards a gift certificate for the school.
Our neighbouring community, Anten Mills, is having their community garage sale on Saturday June 8th. I’m sure there will be many treasures to be found, so go take a look. I believe it begins at 7:30, so wake up with rooster and get there early to be sure to find the deals.
