The first long weekend of summer has come and gone and with it came lots of traffic and the ever tormenting black flies! I guess the next month or so will keep us flapping our arms around our heads or just staying inside as much as possible to avoid the pesky bugs.
I have been hearing the crack of the bat a few yards over at the ball diamonds here in the village. I know practices have been taking place and games will be starting soon. If you are looking for some entertainment in your evenings, pop over and watch a game. Fans are always welcome!
SPRING CLEAN UP – The Recreation Board is organizing a Spring Clean Up day. It will be taking place on Saturday June 1st at 9:30 at the Community Centre. Everyone is encouraged to come out and lend a hand if you can. Please bring a rake with you.
