Community
Minesing is fortunate to have a number of community resources available to residents. We have a great Community Centre and Pavilion, a Springwater Public Library branch, a top rated Public School and two churches to serve our community. The links to the left will take you to more detailed information on these community resources. We are also home to a globally significant wetland, the Minesing Swamp, where you can experience rare species of plants and various animals as you explore it's 6,000 hectares.
Fire & Police Services Minesing and area is served by the Springwater Fire Department from Station #3 at 2303 Ronald Rd in Minesing. This building is also shared with a Community Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. For emergencies always use 911 and for non-emergencies the Community Detachment can be reached at 705-792-0306.
Minor Sports Minesing Minor Ball runs baseball for boys and girls aged 4 - 19 years as part of the Georgian Bay Minor Softball League.  Please refer to Minesing Minor Ball's website for all of the details.
